I'm working as a producer on a number of video projects and social compaigns.
Overview
Karp
I am currently a producer and "the sound guy" on a short documentary about a man named Ivan Karp. Karp is best known for discovering Andy Warhol, and for being the first gallerist to identify and coin the idea of Pop Art as movement. But for this project, we are focusing on his lesser known legacy as a vigilante preservationist who led missions in the 50s and 60s to rescue statues from demolition sites. He called it the Anonymous Arts Recovery Society. In making this project, I have become a highly component sound recordist for documentary films, expanding my skillset beyond the realm of radio. I've recorded professional quality audio using a lavalier kit and a shotgun mic. We are planning on premiering the project in January 2026. The director is Ruby Walsh, my fellow producers are Ella Walsh and Vanessa Nunan, and our Director of Photography is Milo Hume. Jeremy Brooke is our advisor and second DP. Here is the fundraising link if you are so inclined!
Pumpkin Alley
This is the first video piece I ever made, and I made it for my intro to video class at CUNY. It's kind of amateur-ish, especially in terms of the sound quality. But I also think it's pretty sweet, given that it was shot on an iPhone and it was my first project. I edited it on premiere and turned it around in 24 hours, despite having never previously used the platform.
The Push To License E-bikes
This is another piece I made in my intro to video class about the campaign to license e-bikes across New York City. It is several minutes long but I think could be easily compressed into a minute or less for social content. Though the work in that class was focused on traditional news and documentary basics, I have since become well-versed in making similar videos but for vertical content.
This website is a work in progress. I will upload more of my video work soon.
Thank you for your patience <3
